I will say now something very very feminine.
So, I call you, girls!
Have you ever had, during the week before your period, an over-exaggeration of your fears?
Let me explain. Usually everyone of us has their fears: arachnophobia, claustrophobia etc. And some day happened that those fears increase based on your self confidence in those precise moments. For example, you had a bad day at work and you are coming back home. Once home you start to cook the dinner with a sad mood and you would prefer almost not to eat at all. But you must, so you cook. Suddenly you feel your senses sharpening increasingly and a strange uncomfortable feeling behind your back.
You turn and… Nothing. All normal. Then you return to your stove. When… Again that feeling. Then you turn again… Nothing. So, you think that you are too tired and stressed. Once your dinner is ready, you turn with your plate in your hand to go straight to the sofa, when…. Oh my God! A horrible black beetle just behind you! All your nerves explode and you scream but too much… as if you had just seen a serial killer with a knife in front of you! Normally you would just shout a bit and immediately take a broom to kill the black beetle.
Why did you react in that unusual way? Surely because that sad mood made you more sensitive and tense. So your reactions are over-exaggerated.
Now, this happens to me every month, every week before I am expecting the period. I am becoming more tense than normal so
all my fears become more scary as well. Let me clarify: I already said that I am afraid of the dark. In that particular week I am so alarmed that I cannot leave any angle of my home in darkness.
What I want to know is if I am not the only crazy one and someone else know what I mean 😀
Otherwise, I think I have to see a shrink.
For now the only one that is similar to me is Bibi in UK: an Italian abroad. See the next episode to understand what I mean. https://schiraldiart.com/Bibi%20in%20uk/
