Speaking on something else: tv series.
Recently a new series was released, that caused uproar: The Witcher.
Last year ended with the last season of Game of Thrones. I still remember that day when I bought the first book of the saga, in paperback, I was 17. I was in a very popular bookshop in the South of Italy and I was captured by a very cheap cover image of a book (I still not understand why I was so captured). Its title was “A Song of Ice and Fire: A Game of Thrones”. At the end of the book it was written that it was part of series under development.
At that time I had made a choice: I would read no more sagas under development. I was reading already the comic-book Berserk; it was enough for me (just to give an idea, this comc book is still under development and now I am 30!).
So, ended up buying it. Typical, uh?
Then, from that time, an amazing period of my life began, spent waiting for the next released book.
When I heard that the tv series was being filmed … my God, I was so excited!
Poor me, during last year the tv series reached its conclusion and I still have to finish the books.
But now a promising tv series is avalaible: the adventures of the Butcher of Blaviken or better known as Geralt of Rivia.
I’ve devoured the first season in two days, and now I am ardently waiting for the second.
Impressions? I am waiting to watch the second season to have an overall picture and to read the books (this time the saga is concluded).
What I think about Game of the Thrones? Well, it’s better if I avoid to give a feedback or, I am afraid, I’ll start a new Red Wedding. But I can say that my favourite character is Tyrion Lannister.
Now it’s time for my little sketch of Captain Obvious (people who played the videogame will get it).
Hmm… looks like rain
