In these freezing nights, with Christmas at this point so close, I would like to suggest you watch a very nice and entertaining cartoon: I am speaking about the new cartoon movie “Klaus”. It is a Spanish cartoon directed by Sergio Pablo, on his first debut as a director, produced by SPA Studios in collaboration with Aniventure and distributed by Netflix as Netflix Originals.
It is a very good film for children and adults. It touches the heart strings by narrating how the legend of Santa Klaus is born: from the reason why he started to donate his toys, from his sleigh pulled by reindeer, to his warm and deep laugh, to the reason why his sleigh flies and all the children want to be good kids to receive presents. Klaus is one very interesting character which from a grumpy old man becomes the Santa Claus we all know. Jesper, the main character, is the the kind of person that may relate to most of us: lazy, obtuse, sly but also with a big heart. He had always wanted to be a happy child.
I strongly suggest to wacht it because I think this is also a good compromise between the 3D and 2D animation, that is unfortunately having a downward trends among kids. An original Christmas story for all the family and not only.
My fan art is a tribute to this amazing cartoon: I illustrate what the movie left in my heart when it finished. I hope you like it
